What it is
A meme from "Papoy!", the exclamation a Minion shouts at a toy store in Despicable Me (2010). The sound now drives short videos in which a Minion wanders real streets repeating "papoi". They are made with CapCut green-screen templates and Minion walking filters, and the joke is the mismatch of a Minion popping up in an ordinary place. It spread first among Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking users, especially in Chile and Brazil. On-topic videos use the "papoi" sound with a Minion appearing; original Despicable Me clips or generic Minion memes do not count.
